San Diego, February 8th – Emerald Textiles™ (“Emerald”), a portfolio company of Los Angeles-based private investment firm Pacific Avenue Capital Partners, LLC (“Pacific Avenue”) has been investing major capital into their growing portfolio of commercial linen and laundry facilities across the West. Emerald recently installed a new Lavatec combined batch washer system (CBW) at the Commerce facility in Los Angeles, California, with a new loading conveyor, a 12 module, 200-pound pocket CBW, 50-bar press extractor, six pre-owned TT-745 gas dryers, and shuttle system that will handle approximately 50,000 pounds wash capacity. The Commerce facility also broke ground in planning for a new ETECH rail and conveyor system set to install this summer. Expectations are high in 2022 to deliver large volumes, streamline operations, and drive cost savings and efficiencies.

The new CBW system has allowed us to increase our overall throughput, so we are processing more poundage in a shorter amount of time, which benefits our growing number of customers,” said Sean Mageean, Commerce Facility’s General Manager.

“The LAVATEC CBW systems are right there with the most energy efficient tunnel systems on the market,” explained Sean Mageean. “Energy savings is very important to us. We do our part to preserve natural resources by regularly investing in energy and water saving equipment so our customers can feel good about choosing Emerald.”

Guided by the mantra Clean Matters®, Emerald delivers high standards of hygienic cleanliness, industry compliance and customer satisfaction.
